HELLO TENSION!
Hello Tension is a tragicomedy by Lights Off Productions in Bangalore.
The story portrays a theatre troupe putting up a play while facing one ‘tension’ after another…all woven in with the mythological story of Aravan from the Mahabharata.
Keeping these themes in mind, I designed the main visual of the poster.

Premier in Theatres
My favourite part about this project was getting to see my work (life-size version!) at the box office on the day of the premier at the Rangashankara theatre in Bangalore!
Sometimes the only connection between a play and its potential audience is a visual, and it was a pleasure to see this poster receive positive reviews not just on social media, but also offline.
Studio Kashiban also conceptualised and collaborated on the dynamic version of the poster with the animator Jishnav Iyer.
